Cass Meehan (they/them) is a two-spirit/nonbinary designer, photographer, stage manager, and general crafter of things. They have been crafting, drawing, and sewing since they could hold crayons and sewing needles and first began their theatrical journey when they were twelve. Throughout high school, they were very involved in all aspects of their drama club as a designer, stitcher, scenic painter, and more, all on top of performing and first began college at the University of the Arts as a DPP (Directing, Playwriting, Production) major with a focus in stage management. During their time there, they shifted into designing more frequently and while they are graduating as a DPP, costume and props design have become more of their focus.
Artistically, Cass is most excited by the world that blends costumes and props together. Problem solving funky design issues is one of their favorite parts about design and largely stems from their background in cosplay. As a stage manager, their specialties are new, devised, or otherwise odd processes. Collaboration is their jam regardless of their role in the room.
